Paul Hughes Set For Bellator Debut On June 22 At 3arena In Dublin

The Professional Fighters League (PFL) is set to tear through Dublin with its Bellator Champions Series on June 22 at the 3Arena. Making his first walk to the PFL cage, Ireland’s own Paul Hughes (11-1) is ready to throw down with Hawaii’s seasoned fighter Bobby King (12-6) in a lightweight slobberknocker.

Topping the bill, Welterweight World Champion Jason Jackson (18-4) squares off against the undefeated menace Ramazan Kuramagomedov (12-0) in a fight that’s set to redefine the division’s pecking order. The night also packs a punch with a women’s featherweight bout featuring Ireland’s Sinead Kavanagh (9-6) clashing with Australia’s Arlene Blencowe (15-10). Both former title contenders are hungry to claw back to the top.

The bantamweights are not to be overlooked, with Russia’s Kasum Kasumov (15-1) duking it out with Brazil’s Matheus Mattos (14-2-1) in a No. 1 contender showdown that promises fireworks. At middleweight, undefeated Hungarian prodigy Norbert Novenyi Jr. (7-0) aims to keep his record spotless against American Top Team’s Dalton Rosta (8-1).

Previously announced, the bout between Peter Queally and Yancy Medeiros has been axed from the lineup, dialing up the anticipation for the remaining fights.

For fight fans across the globe, the Bellator Champions Series Dublin will stream live on Max in the U.S. and on DAZN in the U.K. starting at 5 pm GMT. Irish viewers can catch the action on Virgin Media Television. Next up, truTV will deliver a replay for the U.S. audience the following week, with more broadcast details on the horizon.
