CES MMA 75 – UFC Veteran Charles Rosa returns to the CES cage October 20th at Foxwoods

CES MMA is making a comeback to Foxwoods Resort Casino on October 20, presenting one of the most notable fight cards New England has ever seen.

Get your tickets for CES MMA 75 now on Ticketmaster.com and CESfights.com, priced at $160, $130, $80, and $60. Part of the evening’s earnings will support cancer studies at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, as a tribute to JoAnne Sullivan, the mother of CES fight organizer Patrick Sullivan.

The highlight of the evening presents 13-time UFC veteran Charles Rosa, clashing in a lightweight fight with Jonathan Gary, known as “The Junkyard Dog.”

Often referred to as “Boston Strong,” this marks Rosa’s re-entry to New England and his inaugural fight in the CES MMA arena since his move to the UFC. The native of Peabody had a notable amateur career, holding a record of 11-2 before turning professional. He celebrated victories in his initial 9 fights, with 5 of them under CES MMA. Against Gary, Rosa is set against a seasoned fighter, aiming for the most significant triumph of his journey.

A currently unclaimed world title will be in contention as “Shameless” Don Shainis takes on Regivaldo Carvalho for the CES MMA featherweight World Championship.

Representing Easton, MA, Shainis, with a history in UFC and Bellator, is aiming for a subsequent title after his triumph at the Fighting Alliance Championship in 2022. Against him stands Carvalho, a formidable Brazilian, trained at Glover Texeira’s Texeira MMA & Fitness camp.

The fight card, filled to the brim with talent, also showcases former CES champion Nate “The Snake” Andrews in a welterweight fight against Ali “V.I.P.” Zebian, and Eric “Zebrinha” Spicely contending with Justin “The Fort” Sumter in a light heavyweight bout.

Andrews, hailing from East Providence, RI, kick-started his professional journey with CES MMA, boasting a commendable 14-1 record, eventually securing the CES lightweight title. ‘The Snake’ is returning to CES MMA, facing off against Zebian, a Bellator and PFL veteran from Springfield, MA.

Before entering the Ultimate Fighter 23 in 2016, Spicely held a flawless 8-0 record within the CES MMA. ‘Zebrinha’ aspires to maintain his unbeaten CES streak, challenging Milford, CT’s Sumter, a gifted fighter who appeared in Dana White’s Contender Series in 2018 and 2019.

Additional fights will be unveiled in the forthcoming weeks. Supporters are advised to secure their tickets promptly, as anticipation suggests a rapid full-house.
